Our Health and Safety Management System (HSMS) is designed and implemented to comply with applicable legal and regulatory requirements and foster a culture of safety throughout our organization.
Scope
This Health and Safety Policy Manual applies to all activities and operations within Scantime Energy, including on-site and off-site work, and covers all employees, contractors, and visitors.
Legal and Regulatory Compliance
Scantime Energy is committed to complying with all relevant health and safety laws, regulations, and industry standards applicable to our operations. We monitor and assess changes in legislation and regulations to ensure ongoing compliance and take proactive measures to address any non-compliance issues.
Roles and Responsibilities
a. Oscar Ramokone and Sara Ramokone: As owners and managers, they are responsible for establishing and maintaining an effective HSMS, providing necessary resources, and promoting a culture of health and safety.
b. Department Managers: Each department manager is responsible for implementing and maintaining health and safety procedures within their respective departments. They shall ensure compliance with HSMS requirements, provide adequate training, and enforce safe work practices.
c. Employees: All employees have a responsibility to prioritize health and safety, follow established procedures, use protective equipment as required, and report any health and safety concerns or incidents promptly.
Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment
Scantime Energy is committed to identifying workplace hazards and assessing associated risks to implement appropriate control measures.
We conduct regular inspections, risk assessments, and job hazard analyses to identify and mitigate potential hazards. The findings are documented, and corrective actions are implemented to eliminate or minimize risks.
Health and Safety Training
